Hand twisted wire tree sculptures have been around for well over 40 years. Some of the artists that fall into this category are listed on the My Favorite Artists page and have served as inspiration for my own custom creations.
The trees created on this site use enameled coated copper wire which prevents the art from tarnishing over time. The exception is the use of aluminum wire which also does not tarnish. Besides a natural copper color, there are 35+ colors (applied to the enameled coating) available from my copper wire supplier. This allows me to somewhat match the color of wire to a color found in the rock bases.
My artwork can be seen in the Rox Arts Gallery located in the Aspen Grove Shopping Center, 7301 South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, CO 80120.
